Copper Age Comics

The Copper Age of Comics is a short era (running from 1984 to 1991) with a ton of investment potential. It marks an period where comics started exploring darker themes. Stories like Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns and Alan Moore's Watchmen changed the comic landscape and paved the way for more mature comics and an older fan base.

It's also a special era for independent comics. Some of the most collectible comics from the Copper Age are all independent books.

The Copper Age marks the introduction to:

  • Ben Endlund's The Tick
  • James O'Barr's The Crow
  • Eastman and Laird's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

For many collectors, a near mint 1st print copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a "Grail", costing you as much as a new car!
